CO-Lighting Designer

Coming on board just one week before opening, my co-designer and I made the director’s final production at Vero Beach High School one to remember (February 18-20, 2022).

SUN & SEA

Props technician

Set on an artificial “beach” viewed from a mezzanine above, Sun & Sea directs our attention to a crowd of swimsuit-clad performers conveying anxieties that range from sunburn to environmental catastrophe. I managed food props and the backstage “shower” for each five-hour performance. Presented at The Budd in Philadelphia, PA (September 30-October 3, 2021).

MR. BURNS: A POST-ELECTRIC PLAY BY ANNE WASHBURN

Lighting & PROPS Technician

After weeks of building batteries from copper, zinc, and vinegar, upcycling dead practicals with candles and mirrors, and pedaling bikes to power old headlights into frontlights, this twisted Simpsons tale was achieved entirely without grid-generated electricity. (April 13-21, 2018).
